Adams Street

Some hobo drunk soiled himself
before passing out in the street.

Mr. Adams came along
and berated the man.

Usually when he confronted people,
they ran away for their own safety.

But this one said nothing.

He had decided to try Mr. Adams
who stomped his head through
the pavement.

The hobo never made a sound,
he became a puddle of mush
in silence.

Mr. Adams did not live on the street.
No one knew where he lived.

But he saw the name on the street sign.
It was him.
